Gawdhuli

The literal meaning of the word, “Gowdhuli” is the dust that flies when the cows run home just before sun set. It’s the most auspicious time of the day. Krishna, being a full-fledged cowherd, his favourite companion were naturally the cows. He would spend maximum time of the day with cows and calves. He would often play the flute while the cows grazed in the meadows of Vrindavan.

The several cows and baby calves hand painted on the walls of this room, bring a playful energy to the space. The soothing, calm colours and the large bay window seating overlooking trees and a garden is a sight for sore eyes. The deccan style, vintage pichwai looks simply stunning in this room with twin beds.
